STOVE & OVEN ISSUES

DOESN’T TURN ON

If an electric stove does not turn on, ensure the appliance power cord is plugged in and that all circuit breakers are on. You need to check the pilot light for gas appliances. If the stove is plugged in and the pilot light is burning, that means some other part of the oven will have to be repaired. The cause of the issue might be an surface element, infinite switch, igniter or bake and broil element.

BURNER DOESN’T HEAT

A burner or stove that does not heat won’t do much. An oven does not heat when there’s a broken oven sensor or a malfunctioning bake element. A burner won’t fire up when an element breaks or the burner switch or terminal block don’t work. We are able to troubleshoot and fix these common problems in under 1-2 hours after our arrival.

TIMER ISSUES

You can assume the control panel on an oven is broken if the program or timer settings aren’t working. In this case, we can replace control boards on LG, Sears, GE, Kenmore, KitchenAid and many other brands and models of ranges, stoves and ovens. We provide a warranty on control boards and the manufacturer parts we need for this oven repair service.

OVEN IS TOO HOT

You want a hot oven. Just not too hot! If the heat is out of control, it could be because of an issue with the thermostat or sensor. Our appliance technicians are able to diagnose the reason for the problem and then fix it. But be careful when troubleshooting this problem for fear of burns from the very high and totally unpredictable heat.

IGNITER DOES NOT LIGHT

A common stove issue is times where an igniter will glow but doesn’t light. The cause is from a broken surface igniter, safety valve, electronic control or temperature sensor. We will determine whether we are able to fix these parts or if we will have to replace the part.

DOOR WILL NOT OPEN

New self-cleaning models of ovens sometimes have door issues often. The door doesn’t open after the oven is done cleaning itself. We inspect the door latch, seal and thermostat to identify why the door will not open up and then complete the repair in order to put an end to the issue.
